Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1/2 c
- butter
- ginger - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1 c
- soy sauce - 1/2 c
- can applesauce - 1 lb
- wine - 1/2 c
- pork tenderloin - 1 item
How to make baked pork tenderloin:
Season flour with salt and pepper. Rub both sides of roast with flour mixture, then brown in butter. Place in oven serving dish. Pour off all but 1 tablespoon of fat. Brown onion and garlic, then stir in ginger. Mix together applesauce, wine and soy sauce; stir into onion mixture. Simmer 1 minute, then pour over pork. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
