Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 6 oz
- garlic powder
- pepper - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- Parmesan cheese - 3 Tbsp
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- oregano - 1 Tbsp
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- hamburger - 1 lb
- shredded Mozzarella cheese - 2 pkg
- lasagna noodles - 1 pkg
How to make lasagna:
Brown meat with onion; drain off excess fat. Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, salt, pepper, garlic powder, sugar, oregano and Parmesan cheese. Stir sauce. Simmer about 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Cook noodles as directed on package.Pour thin layer of sauce on bottom of pan. Starting with noodles, make alternating layers of noodles, sauce and cheese (Mozzarella and cottage), ending with Mozzarella on top. Bake, covered, at 350° for 20 minutes. Remove cover and bake 5 minutes more.
