Bacon wrapped bread sticks
Ingredients/Components
- light brown sugar - 1 c
- chili powder - 2 Tbsp
- thin bread sticks - 1 pkg
- bacon room temperature - 1 pkg
How to make bacon wrapped bread sticks:
Thoroughly mix sugar and chili powder and spread on large dish. Carefully wrap bread sticks with bacon, leaving both ends open. Roll in chili/sugar mixture, coating well. Place in rows on baking tray. Broil approximately 5 to 10 minutes per side. Watch carefully; they burn easily.Hint: Move rack away from broiler if possible. The longer you can keep them under the broiler, the crispier the bacon. Use a broiler tray or rack to let bacon grease drip away from the bread sticks.
