Bacon dressing
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- water
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- beaten egg - 1 item
- slices bacon, cut in 1-inch pieces - 4 item
- pinch of dry mustard optional - 1 item
- lettuce, endive or dandelion greens - 1 item
How to make bacon dressing:
Fry bacon until crisp. Mix other ingredients in a pan. Add bacon with grease. Cook at medium heat until reasonably thick, stirring constantly. Pour over your choice of salad greens and mix well.
