Autumn apple loaf
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- margarine or butter - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- white sugar - 1 c
- dash of cinnamon - 1 item
- walnuts or pecans, chopped - 1/2 c
- apples, peeled, cored and grated - 1 c
How to make autumn apple loaf:
Preheat oven to 350°. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and nuts. In a large bowl, beat margarine or butter, sugar and 1 egg until smooth. Add second egg and beat well. Stir in vanilla. Stir in apples. Pour flour mixture into batter. Stir until moistened. Scrape into a loaf pan. Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.Recipe categories: Desserts, Fruit, Apple.
