  • slices American cheese - 8 item
  • chopped almonds - 1/4 c
  • asparagus spears - 3 c
  • white sauce * - 2 c

How to make asparagus casserole:

*White sauce recipe can be found on the Argo cornstarch box or from any basic cookbook.

Layer half the asparagus, half the cheese slices and half the almonds. Repeat layers. Pour the white sauce over the layers and sprinkle with black pepper as desired. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
