  • flour - 3 Tbsp
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • toasted almonds - 1/2 c
  • margarine
  • cracker crumbs
  • jar Old English cheese - 1 item
  • 3 cans green asparagus

How to make asparagus casserole:

Cream Sauce:4 Tbsp. margarine1 1/2 c. milk1 jar Old English cheese3 Tbsp. flour Melt stick margarine with cracker crumbs; spread in bottom and sides of casserole dish. Arrange asparagus on crumbs and sprinkle with almonds. Make Cream Sauce with cheese and pour over asparagus. Save 2 tablespoons of cracker crumbs to sprinkle over top. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
