- milk
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- stick margarine - 1 item
- toasted almonds - 1/2 c
- margarine
- cracker crumbs
- jar Old English cheese - 1 item
- 3 cans green asparagus
How to make asparagus casserole:
Cream Sauce:4 Tbsp. margarine1 1/2 c. milk1 jar Old English cheese3 Tbsp. flour Melt stick margarine with cracker crumbs; spread in bottom and sides of casserole dish. Arrange asparagus on crumbs and sprinkle with almonds. Make Cream Sauce with cheese and pour over asparagus. Save 2 tablespoons of cracker crumbs to sprinkle over top.
