Asparagus and egg casserole
Ingredients/Components
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1/2 c
- hard-boiled eggs - 4 item
- buttered bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- large can asparagus spears - 1 item
- medium white sauce or 1 can mushroom soup - 1 c
How to make asparagus and egg casserole:
Arrange 1/2 of asparagus in bottom of greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Top with slices of egg, pepper and salt. Sprinkle with cheese. Spoon 1/2 of white sauce or soup over mixture. Repeat layers. Top with bread crumbs. Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Side dish, Asparagus, Casseroles.
