Artichoke squares
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- bread crumbs - 1/4 c
- oregano - 1/8 tsp
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- Tabasco sauce - 1/8 tsp
- parsley, chopped - 2 Tbsp
- 2 c - 1/2 lb
- clove crushed garlic - 1 item
- jars marinated artichoke hearts - 2 oz
- eggs or 8 egg whites for low cholesterol - 4 item
How to make artichoke squares:
Drain artichokes; save oil from one jar. Saute onion and garlic in the saved oil. Chop artichokes. Beat eggs. Add crumbs and spices. Add rest of ingredients and mix well. Pour into greased 8 x 11-inch Pyrex pan. Bake at 325° for 30 minutes or until firm to touch. Cool slightly. Cut into squares and serve warm.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, For large groups, Appetizers.
