Artichoke nibbles
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- fine dry bread crumbs - 1/4 c
- oregano - 1/8 tsp
- small onion, finely chopped - 1 item
- minced parsley - 2 Tbsp
- Tabasco sauce - 1/8 tsp
- sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded - 1/2 lb
- jars marinated artichoke hearts - 2 oz
How to make artichoke nibbles:
Drain marinade from 1 jar of hearts into frying pan. Drain other jar. Chop all hearts and set aside. Add onion and garlic to frying pan and saute until onion is limp, about 5 minutes.In bowl, beat eggs with a fork. Add crumbs, salt, pepper, oregano and Tabasco. Stir in cheese, parsley, artichokes and onion mixture. Pour into greased 7 x 11-inch baking pan. Bake at 325° for 30 minutes or until set. Let cool and cut into 1-inch squares. Good hot or cold.
