Apricot jello salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cream cheese
- eggs - 2 item
- pkg - 1 oz
- boiling water - 2 c
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- miniature marshmallows - 1 c
- Dream Whip - 1 pkg
- ice water - 1 c
- pineapple juice
- large can crushed pineapple, drained well - 1 item
- large can apricots, well drained and chopped - 1 item
How to make apricot jello salad:
Topping:1/2 c. pineapple juice1/2 c. sugar2 Tbsp. margarine2 eggs1 large pkg. cream cheese1 pkg. Dream Whip Prepare the Jell-O as usual. Add the other ingredients, pineapple, apricots and marshmallows and let it set until firm. Cook pineapple juice, sugar, margarine and eggs until it begins to thicken. Cool and beat in a 1 package of cream cheese. Beat until smooth. Whip the Dream Whip and fold into topping. Spread over top of Jell-O salad.Recipe categories: Desserts, Low sodium, Gelatin.
