  • sugar - 1/3 c
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • flour - 4 Tbsp
  • cold water
  • boiling water - 2 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • miniature marshmallows - 1 c
  • Dream Whip - 1 pkg
  • grated Cheddar cheese - 1 item
  • pineapple juice - 1 c
  • lemon Jell-O
  • orange Jell-O
  • 2 can crushed pineapple, drained reserve juice

How to make sawdust salad:

Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water; add cold water, crushed pineapple and marshmallows. Mix well and chill overnight. Use a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Next morning, combine pineapple juice, sugar, flour and egg. Cook until thick. Cool and pour over Jell-O. Beat until smooth Dream Whip and cream cheese. Spread over Jell-O. Top with grated cheese.
