Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- chopped nuts - 1/3 c
- large can crushed pineapple - 1 item
- Dream Whip dessert topping
- apricot Jell-O do not prepare as usual with water - 2 pkg
How to make apricot jello mold:
Put Jell-O, pineapple and sugar into a small saucepan. Cook slowly on the stove, on low heat, for about 10 minutes, stirring constantly. (Pineapple juice will make its own liquid.) Remove from the heat. Add the cream cheese and nuts to the mixture. Fold in the entire container of prepared Dream Whip.Pour the combined ingredients into a Jell-O mold or container of your choosing. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours. When the mixture is set, it is ready to be served.
