Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- water - 1/4 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- dried apricots - 1 c
- orange juice - 1/2 c
How to make apricot bread:
Soak apricots in warm water to cover, at least 1/2 hour. Drain and wipe dry. Cut into quarters. Blend and combine sugar, butter and egg. Stir in water and orange juice. Add dry ingredients. Place in 9 x 5-inch loaf pan, greased and floured. Bake at 350° about 1 hour.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Breads, Time to make.
