  • butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
  • water - 1 c
  • baking powder - 1 Tbsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • walnuts - 1/2 c
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • sugar - 1 c
  • flour
  • dried apricots, chopped - 1 c

How to make apricot bread:

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg. Sift dry ingredients together. Add alternately with water and vanilla. Stir in apricots and nuts. Bake in well-greased small bread cans or 4 well-greased No. 2 round cans. Bake 40 minutes at 375°.
