Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- walnuts - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- sugar - 1 c
- flour
- dried apricots, chopped - 1 c
How to make apricot bread:
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg. Sift dry ingredients together. Add alternately with water and vanilla. Stir in apricots and nuts. Bake in well-greased small bread cans or 4 well-greased No. 2 round cans. Bake 40 minutes at 375°.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Breads, Time to make.
