Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1/4 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 2 Tbsp
- dried apricots - 1 c
- orange juice - 1/2 c
How to make apricot bread:
Soak apricots in water to cover until soft and tender. Drain and cut up. Cream sugar, shortening and egg. Stir in orange juice, baking powder, baking soda, salt and flour. Stir in nuts and apricots.
