Applesauce cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• milk - 1/4 c
• flour - 3 c
• butter - 1 c
• water - 1/2 c
• egg - 1 item
• nuts - 1 c
• raisins - 1 c
• cloves - 1 tsp
• allspice - 1 tsp
• box powdered sugar - 1 item
• soda, dissolved in water - 1 Tbsp
• stewed apples unsweetened - 2 c
• Ice with Caramel Icing

How to make applesauce cake:

Mix all ingredients and bake at 350° until cake tester comes clean. Ice with Caramel Icing.Caramel Icing:1 stick butter1 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. nuts1/4 c. milk1 box powdered sugar Brown butter in saucepan, being careful not to burn. Remove from heat and add everything but nuts. Beat until stiff (smooth), then add nuts.
