Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/4 c
- flour - 3 c
- butter - 1 c
- water - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- nuts - 1 c
- raisins - 1 c
- cloves - 1 tsp
- allspice - 1 tsp
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- soda, dissolved in water - 1 Tbsp
- stewed apples unsweetened - 2 c
- Ice with Caramel Icing
How to make applesauce cake:
Mix all ingredients and bake at 350° until cake tester comes clean. Ice with Caramel Icing.Caramel Icing:1 stick butter1 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. nuts1/4 c. milk1 box powdered sugar Brown butter in saucepan, being careful not to burn.
