- cinnamon - 1 item
- milk - 1/3 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- stick margarine - 1 item
- water - 2 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- Filling:4 medium apples, chopped
How to make apple roll:
Filling:4 medium apples, chopped cinnamon Syrup:2 c. sugar1 stick margarine2 c. water Combine all crust ingredients and pat into a ball. Roll on floured surface to 1/4-inch thickness. Spread chopped apples evenly on top of dough. Sprinkle with cinnamon; roll up like a jelly roll and slice in rings about 1-inch thick. Place in a 9 x 9-inch or larger baking pan.Prepare syrup by combining sugar, margarine and water. Heat until sugar dissolves. Pour over apple rolls. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes or until brown.
