Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
- water - 2 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- diced apples
- one rolled out pastry crust - 1 item
How to make apple roll:
Heat oven to 350°. In large casserole dish, add butter, water, sugar and vanilla. Let mixture get very hot. Stir occasionally. Roll out dough in a large circle. Sprinkle with apples, brown sugar and cinnamon. Mix this and place on dough. Roll up as a jelly roll. Cut into 1 1/2-inch slices and drop into hot mixture.
