- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- chopped pecans
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- brown sugar
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- margarine - 1/2 c
- salad oil
- chopped apples - 4 c
How to make apple dapple cake:
Glaze:1 c. brown sugar1/4 c. milk1/2 c. margarine Preheat oven to 350°. Mix eggs, oil and sugar; blend well. Sift flour, salt and baking soda together; add to egg mixture. Add apples, nuts and vanilla. Pour batter into greased tube or Bundt pan. Bake 1 hour. Remove from oven.In saucepan, combine glaze ingredients. Cook 2 1/2 minutes. While cake is still hot, pour glaze over cake while cake is still in the pan. Cool completely before removing from pan. Serves 18.
