Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- milk - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- raisins optional - 1 c
- corn oil
- chopped apples - 2 c
- Beat oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla
How to make fresh apple cake:
Sift flour, soda and salt. Beat oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixture until smooth. Fold in apples, nuts and raisins. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Cool 20 minutes before frosting.Frosting:1/2 c. butter1/2 c. brown sugar2 tsp. milk Cook topping and pour over cake. Cook for 2 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Apple.
