  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • milk - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • raisins optional - 1 c
  • corn oil
  • chopped apples - 2 c
  • Beat oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla

How to make fresh apple cake:

Sift flour, soda and salt. Beat oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixture until smooth. Fold in apples, nuts and raisins. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Cool 20 minutes before frosting.Frosting:1/2 c. butter1/2 c. brown sugar2 tsp. milk Cook topping and pour over cake. Cook for 2 minutes.
