Apple dapple cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 3 Tbsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 3/4 c
- flour - 3 c
- oil
- soda - 1 tsp
- margarine - 3/4 c
- Sift dry ingredients together
- raw chopped apples - 3 c
How to make apple dapple cake:
Cream together oil, sugar, eggs, vanilla and milk. Sift dry ingredients together. Add creamed mixture to dry ingredients, then add nuts and apples. Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 30 minutes. Pour icing over hot cake and leave in pan 2 1/2 hours before serving. (The amount of cinnamon is correct, 3 tablespoons.)Icing:1 c. brown sugar1/4 c. milk3/4 c. margarine Combine and boil 2 1/2 minutes.
