Apple coleslaw
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 2 tsp
- vinegar - 3 tsp
- mayonnaise - 2 tsp
- celery seed
- dash of cayenne - 1 item
- shredded green cabbage - 5 c
- freshly squeezed lemon juice - 1 tsp
- large red apple, peeled, cored and coarsely grated - 1 item
How to make apple coleslaw:
Dressing: Whisk together first 7 ingredients; set aside.Toss grated apple with lemon juice. Place shredded cabbage in a bowl and grated apple and toss. Add the dressing and toss again, so that the slaw is well coated. Serves 8.
