Ingredients/Components
- diced Jonathan apples - 4 c
- `4 eggs
- sugar - 2 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- raisins - 1 c
- nuts - 1 c
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- Add sugar, oil, nuts, raisins and cinnamon, then add vanilla
- butter - 1/8 c
- powdered sugar - 1/2 lb
How to make apple cake:
Break egg over apples and mix lightly. Add sugar, oil, nuts, raisins and cinnamon, then add vanilla. Mix flour, soda and salt and add to the above mixture. Bake at 325° for 40 to 50 minutes, using a 9 x 13-inch greased and floured pan.Icing:4 oz. cream cheese1/8 c. butter1 tsp. vanilla1/2 lb. powdered sugar Cream the cream cheese with butter.
