Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 2 tsp
• salt - 1 tsp
• flour - 3 c
• soda - 1 tsp
• nuts - 1 c
• Crisco oil - 3/4 c
• Crisco shortening - 1/4 c
• raw apples - 3 c

How to make apple cake:

Cream sugar, oil and shortening. Add eggs. Sift flour, salt and soda together. Add flour mixture and apples alternately to sugar mixture. Stir in nuts and vanilla. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
