Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon
- white sugar - 8 lb
- white Karo - 1 gal
- dark Karo - 1/2 gal
- apple slices, not cooked - 3 gal
How to make apple butter:
Put apples, sugar and Karo in canner. Put lid on until cooks. Cook slowly 4 hours and put through sieve. Add cinnamon. Put in jars and cold pack 10 minutes. Makes 3 gallons.Recipe categories: Fruit, Apple, Condiments, etc..
