Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 5 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 2 c
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- shortening - 3/4 c
- warm water - 1/2 c
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
How to make angel biscuits:
Combine flour, sugar, soda, baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening. Dissolve yeast in water (warm). Stir in buttermilk mixture and yeast to dry ingredients. Bake at 400° for 12 minutes.
