- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1/2 pt
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- butter - 1/4 lb
- water - 1 Tbsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- almond extract - 1/2 tsp
- powdered sugar
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c

How to make cranberry coffee cake:
Sauce:3/4 c. powdered sugar1 Tbsp. water1/2 tsp. almond extract Cream butter and sugar. Add unbeaten eggs, one at a time. Mix dry ingredients. Add alternately with sour cream. Add vanilla and nuts. Pour into a greased 8 or 9-inch tube pan. First a layer of batter, then a layer of cranberry sauce. Repeat, ending with a layer of batter. Bake at 350° for 55 minutes. Cool 5 to 10 minutes and remove from pan to cool on a rack. Mix sauce and drizzle over cake.Recipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Coffee cakes.
