Ambrosia salad
Ingredients/Components
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- buttermilk - 2 c
- flaked coconut - 1 c
- can crushed pineapple with juice - 1 oz
- carton Cool Whip, thawed - 1 oz
- box orange Jell-O - 1 oz
How to make ambrosia salad:
Combine pineapple and Jell-O in saucepan. Heat until Jell-O is dissolved. Remove from heat and stir in buttermilk, coconut and pecans. Fold in Cool Whip. Pour in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Chill until firm. Serves 12 to 15.Recipe categories: Desserts, Lunch/snacks, Salads.
