Ingredients/Components

  • boiling water - 2 c
  • mini marshmallows
  • orange gelatin - 1 serving)
  • thawed Cool Whip
  • can crushed pineapple in juice - 1 oz
  • can mandarin orange segments, drained - 1 oz
  • coconut optional - 1/2 c

How to make ambrosia mold:

Drain pineapple, reserving liquid. Add cold water to liquid to measure 1 cup. Stir boiling water into gelatin in a large bowl until completely dissolved. Stir in liquid. Refrigerate 1 1/4 hours or until slightly thickened. Stir in whipped topping with wire whisk until smooth. Refrigerate 10 minutes or until mixture will mound. Stir in oranges, pineapple, marshmallows and coconut. Spoon into 6-cup mold. Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm. Unmold. Makes 10 servings.
