Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 4 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- butter - 1 c
- coconut - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- nuts, chopped - 1 c
- bananas, mashed - 1 c
- can pineapple, crushed undrained - 1 oz
- jar cherries, chopped and drained - 1 oz
How to make aloha loaf:
Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs and mix well. Stir in bananas. Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture. Fold in pineapple, coconut, cherries and nuts. Makes 3 loaves of bread. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until done. This will freeze good.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Bananas.
