Almond crescent cookies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 10 oz
- flour
- butter - 1 c
- confectioners sugar - 1 c
How to make almond crescent cookies:
Whirl almonds in blender. Mix flour, sugar and ground almonds. With fingers, work in butter and vanilla until mixture cleans bowl. Chill dough at least 1 hour. Roll dough into balls (approximately 1 1/4-inch), then into rolls (3 1/2-inch). Form into crescent shapes. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes until lightly brown. Cool on pan about 10 minutes. While still warm, roll in confectioners sugar. Makes 25 to 30.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Hand Formed cookies.
