  • butter, softened - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • ground almonds
  • unsifted powdered sugar

How to make almond crescent cookies:

With electric mixer, combine unsifted flour, nuts, 1 cup of the sugar, butter, salt and vanilla. Mix well. Divide dough into 36 balls. Form into crescent shape. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets in a 375° oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Sift remaining sugar over cookies.
