Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- chopped celery - 1/4 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1/2 item
- grated cheese - 1 c
- dry sherry - 2 Tbsp
- can chopped green chilies - 1 item
- toasted sliced almonds - 1/4 c
- flour tortillas - 1 pkg
- small can sliced mushrooms - 1 item
- whole chicken, cooked and deboned - 1 item
- Topping:1/2 can cream of chicken soup
How to make acapulco chicken:
Topping:1/2 can cream of chicken soup1 c. sour cream2 Tbsp. dry sherry Cook chicken; debone and dice. Mix together all ingredients well; fill tortillas. Place, seam side down, in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.Topping: Mix ingredients; pour over tortillas. Top with grated cheese. Bake, covered, for 30 minutes at 350°. Uncover to let cheese melt.
