- salt - 1 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- cinnamon optional - 3 tsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- oil - 1 c
- sugar - 2 c
- A to Z * - 2 c
- vanilla - 3 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- apples, grated - 1 item
- applesauce - 1 item
- apricots, chopped - 1 item
- bananas, mashed - 1 item
- carrots, grated - 1 item
- cherries, pitted and chopped - 1 item
- coconut, fresh, ground - 1 item
- dates, pitted and finely chopped - 1 item
- eggplant, ground up - 1 item
- figs, finely chopped - 1 item
- grapes, seedless - 1 item
- honey, omit sugar above - 1 item
- juice
How to make a to z bread:
Sift dry ingredients; set aside. Beat eggs in a large bowl; add oil and sugar, cream well.Add A to Z and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Mix well. Add nuts. Spoon into 2 well-greased loaf pans. Bake in preheated oven at 325° for 1 hour. Makes 2 large loaves.
