Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- can tomato sauce - 8 oz
- beef broth - 8 oz
- powder - 1 clove
- potatoes, quartered - 1 item
- tapioca Minute - 3 Tbsp
- lean beef, cut in large pieces - 2 lb
- carrots, in large pieces - 1 item
- onions, whole or halved - 1 item
How to make 5 hour beef stew:
Put all ingredients in Dutch oven with a tight-fitting top. Bake 5 hours at 250°.Great for a fall evening when you have been on the go all afternoon. Wonderful aroma. Makes its own thickened brown gravy.
