  • salt
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • can tomato sauce - 8 oz
  • beef broth - 8 oz
  • powder - 1 clove
  • potatoes, quartered - 1 item
  • tapioca Minute - 3 Tbsp
  • lean beef, cut in large pieces - 2 lb
  • carrots, in large pieces - 1 item
  • onions, whole or halved - 1 item

How to make 5 hour beef stew:

Put all ingredients in Dutch oven with a tight-fitting top. Bake 5 hours at 250°.

Great for a fall evening when you have been on the go all afternoon. Wonderful aroma. Makes its own thickened brown gravy.
