Place all ingredients in blender and blend until mixed well and smooth. Cook in double boiler or over medium heat until thick. This is very good on Pig in Blankets... Mix well and use as salt. You may also add any herbs to taste: parsley, thyme, rosemary, oregano, basil or tarragon.... Slice apple wedges; baste with melted butter. Top with cinnamon. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°. Serve warm or chilled.... Sift together 6 times. Multiply the recipe as needed. Store in covered container at room temperature. Will keep up to 6 months.... Mix all ingredients. Store in small airtight jar in a cool dry place. Makes about 1 cup.... Pull off and discard stems and seeds from chilies. Break up pods and grind finely to make 1/3 cup (avoid breathing powder). Mix chilies with remaining ingredients. Store airtight. Use in chili recipes.... Mix all ingredients together in zipper type plastic bag. Shake with chicken, pork chops, etc. Bake at 400° for 1 hour. Cover with foil for the first 30 minutes.... Combine all in a medium bowl. Toss until well blended. Store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.|| This is a good substitute for salt. Use in casseroles,... Mix together. Use this before barbecuing or smoking meat. Place on meat 1 hour before cooking.... Blend mustard, vinegar and eggs in blender. Refrigerate overnight.|| In morning, put mixture in top of double boiler and add sugar. Cook 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Bottle.... Combine all ingredients well and sprinkle lightly on meat to be grilled. Rub into meat and allow to sit at room temperature about 1 hour. Also great on steamed vegetables.... Add the vanilla to the confectioners sugar. Mix well and press through a sieve. Prepare before baking cookies so it will have time to dry.... Beat eggs; add oil and beat again. Add remaining ingredients and beat again.... Mix all ingredients together. Put in shaker for table use. Excellent for salt restricted diets.... |
