Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- vegetable oil - 1/4 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- medium onion, diced - 1 item
- Tabasco sauce - 1/2 Tbsp
- seasoned salt - 1 Tbsp
- chicken stock - 2 c
- liquid smoke - 2 Tbsp
- cans tomato puree - 2 lb
How to make barbecue sauce for chicken:
Heat oil in large pot; add onion and saute for 3 minutes. Add flour, mixing well, then add all other ingredients. Simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. Refrigerate until needed, up to 2 weeks.Recipe categories: Herb and spice mixes, Marinades and rubs, Cooking mixes.
