  • zucchini, peeled and sliced like apples - 8 c
  • lemon juice - 2/3 c
  • sugar - 1 c
  • nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
  • cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • Crust:3 sticks oleo
  • flour - 4 c

How to make zucchini squares:

Crust:3 sticks oleo4 c. flour2 c. sugar Cook zucchini and lemon juice in pan until tender and transparent. Add sugar and spices. Cool.

Mix ingredients for crust well. Put half in large pan and press down. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.

Pour cooled zucchini mixture over crust. Crumble rest of crust mixture over top and press lightly. Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon over this and bake at 375° for 20 minutes.
