Zucchini soup
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 2 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onions - 1 c
- oregano - 1 tsp
- basil - 1/2 tsp
- Italian seasoning - 1 tsp
- each - 2 cans
- Italian sweet or hot sausage casings removed - 1 lb
- green peppers, cut into 1/2-inch pieces - 2 item
- zucchini, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces - 2 lb
- celery, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces - 2 c
How to make zucchini soup:
Brown sausage in a large Dutch oven; drain off fat. Add celery and cook for 10 minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients, except green peppers; cook, covered, for 10 more minutes.
