Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • melted margarine - 2 Tbsp
  • lukewarm water - 1 c

How to make yeast biscuits:

Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water. Sift flour, salt and sugar together and stir into yeast mixture. Add melted margarine. Turn out onto floured board and knead lightly until smooth. Roll out about 1/2 inch thick. Cut with biscuit cutter. Place on greased pan, grease tops also. Let rise 1 hour or until double or more in size. Bake in hot oven until brown.
