Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- flour - 9 c
- oil - 1/4 c
- warm water - 2 c
- yeast - 3 Tbsp
- water warm - 1 c
How to make white bread:
Mix 1 cup warm water, yeast and 1/4 cup sugar. Let stand for 10 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients and enough flour to make dough easy to handle. Knead 10 minutes, let rise 1/2 hour. Punch down, raise another 1/2 hour. Punch down and put in 3 loaf pans. Raise again. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.If you want to make wheat or rye, add 3 or 4 cups in your first flour addition.
