  • plain flour - 3 c
  • eggs - 5 item
  • sweet milk - 1 c
  • sugar
  • sticks whipped margarine, softened - 2 item
  • Crisco - 1 c
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
  • Add eggs, one at a time
  • box powdered sugar - 1 item
  • stick margarine, softened - 1 item

How to make walnut cake:

Cream together Crisco, sugar and margarine. Add eggs, one at a time. Mix well. Add flour and milk alternately. Add vanilla. Mix all ingredients well. Bake in greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour and 30 minutes at 300°.Walnut Cake Icing:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 box powdered sugar1 stick margarine, softened1 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. chopped walnuts Mix all ingredients together well and ice cake.
