Ingredients/Components
- plain flour - 3 c
- eggs - 5 item
- sweet milk - 1 c
- sugar
- sticks whipped margarine, softened - 2 item
- Crisco - 1 c
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- Add eggs, one at a time
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- stick margarine, softened - 1 item
How to make walnut cake:
Cream together Crisco, sugar and margarine. Add eggs, one at a time. Mix well. Add flour and milk alternately. Add vanilla. Mix all ingredients well. Bake in greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour and 30 minutes at 300°.Walnut Cake Icing:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 box powdered sugar1 stick margarine, softened1 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. chopped walnuts Mix all ingredients together well and ice cake.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Egg.
