Ingredients/Components
- stick butter - 1 item
- Crisco - 1 c
- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 5 item
- milk room temperature - 1 c
- plain flour - 3 c
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- chopped nuts pecans
- walnut flavoring
How to make walnut cake:
Blend together butter and Crisco. Add sugar and blend. Beat eggs separately and then add to mixture. Add salt to flour, then add flour and milk alternately to mixture. Next, add nuts and flavoring. Beat until like whip cream. Pour into tube pan and bake 1 hour and 40 minutes at 350°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Egg.
