Viennese crescent cookies
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 1/2 c
- confectioners sugar - 1 item
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- ground almonds - 1 c
- butter only - 1 c
How to make viennese crescent cookies:
Cream butter; add sugar and mix thoroughly together. Add flour, almonds and vanilla; mix thoroughly. Spoon out small pieces of dough and shape with fingers into small crescents about 2 inches long and 3/4 inch high. Arrange on buttered cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 9 to 10 minutes. While still warm, roll each cookie in confectioners sugar. Let cool, then roll again in confectioners sugar.
