Viennese crescent cookies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- butter - 1 c
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- ground almonds unblanched - 1 c
How to make viennese crescent cookies:
Cream butter; add sugar, flour, almonds and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Shape with fingers into crescents and arrange on greased cookie sheet. Bake in 300° oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Roll in confectioners sugar. Cool. Roll again in confectioners sugar. Makes 3 to 4 dozen.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Pasta, rice and grains.
