  • milk - 3/4 c
  • salt - 3/4 tsp
  • large eggs - 2 item
  • margarine - 2 Tbsp
  • paprika - 1 item
  • dash of pepper - 1 item
  • Ritz crackers - 1 c
  • parsley - 1 item
  • stick margarine, melted - 1/2 item
  • grated sharp cheese - 1/4 c
  • Vidalia onions - 2 c

How to make vidalia onion pie:

Preheat oven to 350°. Mix crumbs with melted margarine. Press into 8-inch pie pan. Saute thinly sliced onions in 2 tablespoons of margarine until clear, but not brown. Spoon into crust.

Beat eggs together with milk, salt and pepper. Pour over onions. Sprinkle with cheese and paprika. Bake for 30 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Sprinkle with parsley before serving. Serves 6 to 8.
