Venison stroganoff
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- water - 1/2 c
- caraway seed - 1/4 tsp
- mushrooms, sliced
- lemon pepper - 1 Tbsp
- onions, sliced
- noodles, cooked and drained - 1 lb
- venison, cubed - 4 lb
- cans cream of tomato soup - 2 item
How to make venison stroganoff:
Brown meat, mushrooms and onions in butter until onions are done. Add soup, water, seed and seasoning. Stir, cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours, stirring frequently. Just prior to serving over noodles, blend in sour cream.Recipe categories: Main dish, Wild game, Deer.
