Ingredients/Components
- ground venison - 2 lb
- large onion - 1 item
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- dry pinto beans - 1 lb
- tomatoes - 1 pt
- salt - 1 tsp
- chili powder - 1 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- small can tomato paste - 1 item
How to make venison chili:
Soak beans. Place in roaster with enough water to cover plus 1 inch over. Cook until almost tender, about 2 hours. Meanwhile, brown meat and onion in oil. Add this and all other ingredients to beans and return to oven for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Main dish, Chili, Deer.
