Velvety chocolate cream pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla
- milk - 3 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1/3 c
- 9-inch baked pie shell or crumb crust, cooled
How to make velvety chocolate cream pie:
Prepare shell; cool. Combine cocoa, sugar, cornstarch and salt in medium saucepan. Gradually blend milk into dry ingredients, stirring until smooth. Cook on medium heat, stirring until mixture boils; boil and stir 3 minutes. Remove from heat, blend in butter and vanilla. Pour in shell.
